My name is Hugo Sechet and I have currently a master's degree at the engineer school ISEN in France. Through my preparatory class I have developed a strong interest in the computing and network field and would like to find a internship from
April to June where i can further develop and enhance my skills.
I believe I am well prepared because of all the IT projects I have done through the past 3 years at
ISEN. I have learned several skills like computer languages, networking, cybersecurity or electronics.
I have a good english understanding thanks to the TOEIC, where I got a score of 850, and the Cambridge certification
where I got B2 level.
In addition, I have served as the active member, president and sportive coach for 2 years in the sport office of my
engineer school. This experience give me priceless qualities like teamwork, self discipline and strengh to constantly
pushing my limits further. I am also a fast-learner with a strong ability to work both independently and with a team.

International experience
I followed the European section in Terminale S and took the Cambridge level B2 test the same year. I obtained a score of 850 in the
TOEIC in my 3rd year of engineering school. To complete my international experience I did my Master1 internship in Japan in the city of Ichinoseki for a period of 3 months.
Computer languages
I had the opportunity during my course in Computer and Network Cycle to handle different notions in computer science and several languages:
Languages C and C++ that I could apply in many projects and subjects.
Web development with PHP, Javascrypt, HTML, CSS and database management with SQL, through the Symfony framework.
I studied linux administration through different projects (see projects below) or courses such as cybersecurity or embedded Linux. My Master 1 project allowed me to learn the programming language Kotlin and xml to realize
Android applications. During my internship in my first year of Master, I had the opportunity to perfect my mastery of arduino with the development of a bracelet
anti-fall bracelet.
Sports experience
In the second year of my preparatory cycle I took over the Sport office as
vice-president of my school in Rennes. I organized sports classes and activities for the students during the confinement. It is in M1 at the campus of Brest
that I continue my adventure in the BDS with multiple functions as an active member of the event pole and sports coach of badminton.

This project consisted in representing a dystopian world. We had, my team and I, a few weeks to realize a model based on materials. It allowed me to work under constraint, in cooperation and in a short time. Finding the means to get material with a small budget with a meager budget was one of the constraints.

Walrus flashlight
Project for the end of the 1st year of the integrated preparatory program
In first year, the flagship project was the "Walrus Flashlight". It is a C-coded flashlight that projects a hidden message in Morse code from from command lines. I realized this project with two students: one from Nantes and one from Rennes. The main part to keep the short deadlines was the
planning and the daily distribution of the workload. I made the website that presents the project and part of the code in C. This project allowed us to to develop cooperation, mutual aid and team cohesion.

Shuttle invaders video game
2nd year Project
The goal of my second year project was to code a functional video game and then make a short video presentation. My idea was simple:
the chickens of Chicken Invaders rebel against the ships that killed so many of their fellow creatures. Several features are available are available, the scores are stored in a text
file with the nicknames associated to the player, there is a pause button, a special attack The difficulty of Shuttle invaders is the speed at which the ships appear, the higher the
level the more ships attack us! that attack us! This individual project was the final test of our knowledge and programming skills in the embedded language C++. It was very exciting
because even though it was a one-person project, all class members shared their creations throughout the two-week project.

Smart city

In the third year, we have to make a mapping of controversies.
First, we have to find a theme with my team among the many topics proposed.
Our team chose the smart city, an exciting and very current topic.
Each member of the group had a precise role, there were interviewers, reporters...
To illustrate our subject we chose the city of Lyon which is a precursor in the field.
The project took place in two phases:
-The restitution of our work in the form of a classic document and also in the form of an audio podcast with all the members of the group.

Programming a pulse oximeter
major project in 3rd year
The project based on the pulse oximeter is divided into three parts spread over three weeks.
The first week we had to program the behavior of a pulse oximeter in C language.
We had to recover measured values of the red light (ACR and DCR)
and infrared (ACIR and DCIR) via USB, process the received information in order to eliminate spurious signals. Calculate
oximetry and heart rate, and finally visualize the results via a user interface.
This project was realized in binomial and evaluated our capacity to distribute the work within the binomial in order to finish in time.

Creation of our own microcontrollers

In continuation of the pulse oximeter projects, during the second week we had the task of making our own card. We proceeded in 3 steps:
-Calculating the value of the components
-Soldering the components onto the board
-The technical test of the functionality of the card with the program made during the first project. This project was very rewarding
because it was the application of the theory seen in class and the soldering workshop was very instructive.

Programmation STM8

The project based on the pulse oximeter is broken down into three parts spread over three weeks.
The aim of the digital electronics project during the third week is to program the STM8 microcontrollers:
- of the "measurement and display" module, which drives the "sensor interface" module of the heart rate monitor electronics project,
- of a simulation board, which simulates the "sensor interface" module and thus makes it possible to test the functionalities of the "measurement and display" module without being in possession of the "sensor interface" module.

Beaglebone card programming
project in 3rd year
This 2 days computer project had for goal to realize in duet a remote control which lights according to a signal on an oscilloscope of the strips of leds.
Our work support was the Eclipse software which acted as an intermediary between the machine and the Beaglebone board. This project required the application of
knowledge in Linux administration, in stm8 and in embedded C programming.

Programming a Social Network Shere
Final project Master1
As part of the Master1 project to be carried out in duo, my partner and I had the task of creating a social network that would allow us to
geolocalize its memories. This means to allow the user to share a publication/highlight with a precise location.
The user could also define a radius of visibility of the memory in order to make it more or less accessible, indeed, the memory would be
visible, only, if our friends are in this same radius.
The code was made in Kotlin and xml on AndroidStudio, and the database with the tool developed by Google: Firebase.
Like all applications, Shere has an authentication and registration page. It allows the future user of the application
to register to the firebase database and enjoy a dedicated session with a personalized profile page and a page with the bookmarked memories.
The first page of the application is a home page, it allows to list the different memories present on the application and accessible
on the map. If you click on a memory, you can see different information such as its name, its coordinates and its visibility radius.
The user also has the possibility to delete a memory from the base or add it to his favorites.
Shere's main page is the map, where you can view the different memories in the vicinity.
It has different elements, including markers that correspond to the exact location of a friend's memory. If you click
on this marker, the details of the memory are displayed like on the home page. A button in the upper right corner allows you to add a
memory on the map with the current position of the user.
Another way to add a memory to the card and share it is this add page. It allows you to add a memory by specifying
the address of the memory. You have to fill in the image corresponding to the memory, its name, its address and the radius of visibility.
All that remains is to confirm the sending. After a few seconds, the memory is added to the database and is visible on the map!
Another key feature of the project is the messaging page.
As part of my Master1 technical internship, I spent 3 months in Japan, in the small town of Ichinoseki.
The aim of this internship was to create a bracelet capable of detecting a fall thanks to an accelerometer and a speed sensor.
The tool chosen for this project was the M5Stick Cplus:
This miniaturized device from M5Stack is the smallest device capable of using the high-performance ESP32,
It perfectly meets the requirements of the specifications.
The development environment chosen for this project is Arduino.
